Lined plastic valves are anti-corrosion valves designed for highly corrosive, high-cleanliness and easy-crystallizing media. The core principle is a **composite structure of metal substrate + engineering plastic lining**: using cast steel, ductile iron or stainless steel as the pressure-bearing substrate, and through processes such as rotational molding, compression molding and vacuum impregnation, a uniform layer of corrosion-resistant engineering plastics including PTFE (F4), FEP (F46), PFA, PO and PP is lined on the flow passage, disc and seat surfaces. Lining layers use high-performance engineering plastics such as PTFE, FEP, PFA, PO and PP with extremely strong chemical stability: PTFE resists all strong acids, alkalis, oxidants and organic solvents except molten alkali metals and fluorine; FEP and PFA have higher temperature resistance, better fluidity and smoother surfaces; PO and PP offer cost-effective performance for dilute acids, wastewater and neutral media. 1. Installation: Handle with care, prohibit knocking or collision on the lining surface; use PTFE anti-corrosion gaskets for flange connection, tighten bolts diagonally and evenly, prohibit unilateral force to avoid flange deformation and lining cracking; install valves in the same direction as medium flow (globe, gate valves), ball and butterfly valves can be installed arbitrarily;
2. Medium: Select compatible media according to lining material, PTFE/FEP/PFA for strong corrosion, PO/PP for dilute acids and neutral media, prohibit use beyond temperature, pressure and medium range;
3. Operation: Operate manual valves smoothly, prohibit strong knocking and rapid switching; clean pipeline impurities and adjust air/power supply to rated values before pneumatic/electric commissioning to avoid damage to actuators;
4. Maintenance: Regularly (6-12 months) check lining integrity and sealing performance, replace aging seals in time; prohibit scraping lining surfaces with metal tools;
