1. Water Quality Softening Working Stage

Raw water enters the equipment through the water inlet pipeline, evenly enters the resin tank through the water inlet ball valve and upper water distributor, fully contacts with the sodium-type cation exchange resin in the tank. The calcium and magnesium hardness ions in the water are completely adsorbed by the resin. The softened water after removing hardness is transported to the boiler feed water system through the lower water distributor, central pipe and water outlet ball valve. The whole process can monitor the equipment operation status and effluent quality in real time through the inlet pressure gauge and outlet sampling valve, ensuring that the effluent hardness always meets the requirements of Water Quality for Industrial Boilers GB/T 1576-2018 standard.

2. Resin Regeneration and Reduction Stage

When the hardness ions adsorbed by the resin reach the saturation state, the equipment automatically starts the regeneration program. The saturated brine in the salt storage tank enters the resin tank through the salt delivery pipe and salt well. High concentration sodium ions displace the calcium and magnesium ions adsorbed on the resin, and are discharged out of the system with the sewage pipe to complete the regeneration and reduction of the resin and restore the ion exchange capacity of the resin. The whole regeneration process can be accurately controlled by the fully automatic control valve.
