Glass Lined Tower Section (also known as Enamel Tower Segment) is the core standard section of tower equipment (distillation tower, absorption tower, reaction tower, scrubber) in chemical, pharmaceutical and environmental protection industries. Its core structure is carbon steel matrix pressure bearing + high silicon enamel layer anti-corrosion. Using high-quality low-carbon steel as the cylinder, the inner wall is sprayed with high-corrosion-resistant glass enamel for many times and sintered at high temperature (860-920℃) in sections, so that the enamel is tightly fused with the metal matrix to form a dense, smooth and corrosion-resistant glass protective layer. Designed and manufactured in strict compliance with the latest industry standard HG/T 3127-2024 "Glass Lined Tower Sections" and TSG 21 special equipment specifications, it has excellent corrosion resistance, thermal stability and structural strength, and is a standardized and modular core component for constructing various corrosion-resistant tower equipment.

1. Product Structure & Working Principle

The glass lined tower section is a vertical cylindrical standard segment with necked flanges at both ends (Type A for clamp connection / Type B for bolt connection), facilitating multi-stage series assembly. During operation, the metal cylinder bears system pressure and mechanical load, while the inner glass lined layer provides strong anti-corrosion, anti-adhesion and easy-cleaning properties, realizing process such as distillation separation, absorption purification and reaction mass transfer of corrosive gas-liquid media. The enamel layer has extremely strong chemical stability with surface roughness Ra≤0.5μm, no scaling, no adhesion and low fluid resistance, ensuring high efficiency and long-term stable operation of gas-liquid contact in the tower.

1. Matrix: High-quality low-carbon steel coiled and welded, sandblasted to Sa2.5 grade for clean and rough surface.
2. Enameling: Precision cold spraying process, multiple uniform spraying of ground coat and cover coat, precise thickness control.
3. Sintering: Sectional high-temperature firing (860-920℃), furnace temperature uniformity ≤±5℃, ensuring strong adhesion of enamel layer without defects.
4. Inspection: Each section undergoes hydrostatic test, air tightness test and 20kV spark test before delivery to ensure no pinholes, cracks or leaks.

7. Installation & Usage Notes

1. Installation: Handle with care, prohibit knocking or collision on enamel layer; use special corrosion-resistant gaskets for flange seals, tighten bolts evenly.
2. Temperature: Control heating/cooling rate ≤1-2℃/min, strictly prohibit rapid cooling or heating.
3. Media: Prohibit contact with hydrofluoric acid, high temperature (>180℃) concentrated phosphoric acid, high temperature & high concentration strong alkalis (pH>12, >80℃).
4. Maintenance: Forbid metal tools to clean inner wall; conduct spark test regularly (6-12 months).
